        Directions

Once you're on the walk using the Google Map directions, click "Preview" to see the direction to begin since all walks are loops. Also, below are some details to better guide you. So, when you reach...

        • State St and Grand Ave -- is the heart of Carlsbad Village so, either before or after your walk, be sure to walk around
        • Corner and merging of Pine Ave and Carlsbad Blvd and the main entrance for Carlsbad State Beach/Robert C. Frazee Beach -- walk south on either Carlsbad Blvd which is above the Boardwalk/beach or walk down the walkway and walk along the Boardwalk/beach
        • Walk south along Carlsbad Blvd, the Boardwalk, the beach, or a combination of the three as there are access points for all three along the way towards Tamarack Ave and the dead end of the Boardwalk at the parking lot. If you're walking along the Boardwalk or beach, when you reach the parking lot head up the street towards Carlsbad Blvd and Tamarack Ave
        • Carlsbad Blvd and Tamarack Ave -- cross Tamarack Ave to get onto east side of Carlsbad Blvd and continue south towards Agua Hedionda Lagoon Carlsbad Blvd Trailhead which will be off to the left shortly after crossing Tamarack Ave on Carlsbad  Blvd
        • Agua Hedionda Lagoon Carlsbad Blvd Trailhead -- the trail is not a loop so walk along the lower trail which follows the lagoon as far as you like and then double back to the beginning of the trail and walk up the small trail which dead ends at Garfield St and Olive Ave
